[...] Again, this was just a short summary - flip through the PDF of the presentation slides, and also check out the AMF resources. Everything I’ve read indicates AMF transmission of data is the way to go no matter the back-end. I’ve now seen AMF working with ColdFusion (7.0.2+), Java (with FDS), PHP, and now .NET.
Updated: The actionscript function was renamed above from "isAvailable" to "available" (I checked in the Flash IDE today). Also, added tags, and made it more obvious the caveat refers to "nested calls" only. I'm hoping to use this new ExternalInterface today.

[...] Although my buddy Nate is now spending his time rigging Axis and Allies so that he has an unfair advantage, that shouldn’t stop you from playing this game. It used take days to play one game, and that was only after months of planning to find four WWII history geeks that were willing to invest the time. Now, you can play in the comfort of your own home (at a much quicker pace) either against the Nate Dork Borg, or other live dorks online.
Yeah - been sucked into work and house cleaning lately... Both rule like drooling on cool stools. On a brighter note, I'm planning on posting some cool stuff on TripleA in the next few days (read: this weekend).
